PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclophane derivative or its salt having recovery action on abnormality of c-fos expression expressing in a neuroblastoma, etc., and useful as a therapeutic agent for various malignant tumors. SOLUTION: The cyclophane derivative represented by the general formula (1) [wherein R<1> is an alkoxycarbonyl group, hydroxy group, a halogen atom or imidazolylthio group; n is 2 or 3] or its salt and a medicine containing the derivative or its salt as an active ingredient are provided.
