PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a flow rate at an arbitrary timing in a gas cutoff device. SOLUTION: In the gas cutoff device, a magnetic signal U1 from a setting device S1 is received by an input N1 in the gas cutoff device N0, an input signal U2 from the input N1 is output to a communication judgment part N2, and the part N2 outputs a flow-rate holding signal U3 to a flow-rate measuring part N3 when the received input signal U2 is a flow-rate holding request. When the part N3 receives the signal U3, it measures the flow rate on the basis of a flow-rate signal U4 from a flow-rate input N4, and it holds information on the measured flow rate. Consequently, the flow rate can be held at the arbitrary timing.
