PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the speed of printing operation from decreasing in order to execute a paper return operation during a printing operation and initialize a printing buffer. SOLUTION: A timing of initializing the printing buffer is matched to a timing of the paper return operation, so that two processes are carried out concurrently.
