PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum material dispersed with a titanium oxide provided with a function of an optical catalyzer on its surface, and provided with a surface property excellent in hydrophilic, deodorizing property, antibacterial property, antifauling property, etc., in an aluminum material having at least two or more aluminum materials mutually joined by brazing and a brazing filler layer formed on the surface of these aluminum core materials, and provide a production method capable of producing inexpensively the aluminum material provided with such an function of the optical catalyzer, and a brazing composition therefor. SOLUTION: The aluminum material has the aluminum core material composed of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy and the brazing filler layer formed on the surface of the aluminum core material, and in the brazing filler layer, the titanium oxide having the optical catalyzer activity is carried to have the function of the optical catalyzer. And the production method for the aluminum material having the function of the optical catalyzer using the brazing composition containing flux and titanium oxide precursor, or the brazing filler, the flux and the titanium oxide precursor, and the brazing composition therefor are provided.
