PURPOSE: A communication method between processes in switching system is provided to remove a limit on the size of an IPC signal by sending only a start address of a memory of the corresponding information. CONSTITUTION: A process requests a common shared library for memory assignment(S41). The corresponding common shared library assigns a memory block to the process(S42). The corresponding process copies information to be transmitted, to the assigned memory block by using a signal send OS primitive(S43). The processor sends only an address of the corresponding memory block to the other process(S44). The other process reads the information stored at the memory block by using the address of the received memory block through a signal receive OS primitive(S45). The corresponding memory block is transited to an idle state by using the common shared library(S46).
