PURPOSE: A method for selectively downloading a bell sound in a mobile communication terminal is provided to selectively download only a specific portion of a desired bell sound in a mobile phone terminal. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a bell download server using a mobile phone terminal and selects a desired bell sound according to the display guidance of the mobile phone terminal(104). The bell download server requests the user to input a target start portion of an inputted bell sound(106). The user inputs the target start portion(108). The bell download server requests the user to confirm whether a portion selected by the user is identical to a target portion, and reproduces a bell sound from the selected portion(110). The user confirms whether the portion selected by the user is identical to the target portion(112). If the portion selected by the user is identical to the target portion, the bell sound server downloads the bell sound in the mobile phone terminal of the user from the selected portion(114). |
