The breakdown equipment includes an auxiliary frame(3) fastened to the chassis (4) of the vehicle and in the middle section of which is installed a rotatable tower (5) mounted on a swivelling saddle (6) in order to facilitate the rotational movement of a main boom (7) connected to the upper section of the tower. A swivel arm (12) is connected to the main boom, and a telescopic towing bar (17) is connected to the lower section of the swivel arm. A yoke (22) is installed on the towing bar, the head having belt pulleys which by the use of two winches and cables fulfills the lifting and towing requirements of the vehicles.
