Topical cosmetic composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of microparticles of a natural polysaccharide gel used to correct clinical signs of skin aging associated with cutaneous relaxation. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkled skin, comprising applying a composition as above to the skin.
