<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating device and program capable of realistically display the image of a submerged terrain part, considering the property of water. SOLUTION: In rendering processing, an object to be drawn is a water surface object, new color data (VR', VG', VB') according to color parameters (αr,αg,αb) preset based on the property of water are generated from color data (VR, VG, VB) of an object such as terrain already written in a frame buffer. The color parameters are determined so that the reduction rate of the red component value VR is larger than the reduction rates of the green component value VG and blue component value VB) (αr<αg,αb). The color data (WR, WG, WB) of the water surface object are added to the new color data by translucent processing in a prescribed ratio to generate final color data (NR, NG, NG). Accordingly, the image realistically displaying the submerged terrain part can be generated.</p> |
