PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo error detection method, an apparatus suitable for the same, a disk securing the quality of a servo error signal, a servo control method for a disk recording/reproducing apparatus, a tracking error detection method, and a tilt error detection method. SOLUTION: In the apparatus which records/reproduces a disk in which a regular standard pattern having a constant dimension is recorded on a data region, a servo error of the recording/reproducing apparatus is detected according to the ratio of the magnitude of the reproduction signals corresponding to the standard pattern recorded in two positions at least separate each other.
