PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at improvement in attachment-and-detachment by making it enable to be attached to many kinds of illumination fittings without changing other compositions, by providing 2 surfaces for attaching surface on the glow starter. SOLUTION: Attaching parts 2 and 3 of the glow starter are formed in one side face (front face) of the socket main part 4 and in its opposite side face (back face). In each the attaching parts 2 and 3, cap pin insertion holes 7 and 8 of the glow starter 20 are opened. Thereby, the attachments of two directions to the illumination fitting become possible by one kind of socket 1.
