PURPOSE: A method for storing a broadcasting channel of a broadcasting signal receiver is provided to accurately detect only a broadcasting channel using an audio signal included in a television broadcasting signal to store the detected broadcasting channel. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether or not a received channel includes a synchronous signal(S4). When the received channel includes the synchronous signal, it is judged whether or not upper and lower AFT voltages are detected(S5,S6). When the upper and lower AFT voltages are detected, it is judged if an audio carrier frequency corresponding to the broadcasting mode in which a television broadcasting receiver operates is detected. When the audio carrier frequency is detected, the received channel is stored as a broadcasting channel. |
