PURPOSE: A degradation method of dioxins by peroxidation and dechlorination is provided, which can detoxify dioxine at low temperature, thus eliminating any heating step or treatment facility to treat harmful gas generated during dioxins degradation. CONSTITUTION: The degradation method of dioxins by peroxidation and dechlorination is characterized in that first dioxins are oxidized by Fenton's reagent at 15 to 300 deg.C, and then treated by alkali such as KOH and NaOH in the presence of polyethylene glycol serving as phase transfer catalyst.
