PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron shield material having a heat resistivity even under a high temperature environment during storing of spent nuclear fuel adaptable for high burnup and ensuring neutron shield capability. SOLUTION: The neutron shield material which is improved in heat resistivity and ensuring neutron shield capability by a composition containing a polymerization initiator, polymerization component and boron compound and without containing amine-based curing agent is provided. For the polymerization component of this invention, especially epoxy component and oxicetan component are favourablly used.
