PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump in which middle points of straight lines connecting rotation centers of gears are different from centers of quadrangles formed in insert holes for fastening bolts, body elements can be commonly used to respective right and left rotating pumps, and bolts can penetrate all of the body elements. SOLUTION: This gear pump comprises a body 1 formed by fastening a plurality of body elements 11 to 15 with fastening bolts. A position of each fastening bolt B1 inserted into at least one body element 14 does not have a relationship of a point symmetry to the middle point X20 of the center line connecting the rotation centers X21 and X22 of the gears 31, 32 supported by or incorporated in the body element 14. The insert hole 140 for the fastening bolt B1 arranged on the body element 14 is shaped to enable the fastening bolt B1 to be inserted therein even if the body element 14 is rotated by 180 deg. about the middle point X20.
