PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for specifically increasing electric current in N-type Ca<2+> channel, the agent is useful for preventing and curing cerebral diseases such as dementia, amnesia and the like, together with screening of a medicine having similar activity that of shown by compound (1), especially useful screening method. SOLUTION: The agent for specifically increasing electric current in N-type Ca<2+> channel, the agent contains a compound which is represented by the following formula (I): [in the formula, R<1> is a lower alkyl, an aryl group, an aryl-(lower)alkoxy group or a heterocyclic group, the aforementioned group may be substituted with halogen atom(s); R<2> is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; R<3> is a cyclo-(lower)alkyl group, an aryl group or an aryl-(lower) alkyl group, the aforementioned group may be substituted with halogen atom(s): A is -CO-, -SO2 - or a lower alkylene group; Y is -CO-, -SO2 or -CONH-], a salt thereof, a prodrug thereof or a solvate thereof, as the effective ingredient. |
