PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile body detecting device, even when a plurality of roads are closely arranged, such as when an elevated road and a regular road which are arranged vertically in parallel, capable of properly determining a vehicle position by surely discriminating between both of the roads. SOLUTION: Paying attention to the fact that a road-side station ID capable of identifying the road-side station is transmitted from the road-side station of the electronic toll collecting (ETC) system, if a signal is received from a road-side station (S20: YES), a road-side station ID is extracted (S30), and the road, on which the road-side station exists, is identified with the road-side station ID. On the road, a mobile body position is determined after being estimated by conducting a map matching process, in which mobile body information calculated based on either one of the electric navigation and the estimation navigation or both of them is compared with map information based on map data (S50, S60). |
