PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, for adjusting a position for the outer peripheral part of a parison, which is capable of transferring the outer peripheral part of a parison after a preliminary blowing process to a position where the outer peripheral part of the parison is not crowded out to the outside of the maximum width of a cavity space running along the parting face of a blow mold and eliminates such a conventional inexpediency that burrs are generated due to the cause that the outer peripheral part of the parison set at a position where it is crowded out to the outside of the maximum width of the cavity space is tightly held by the parting faces of both mold halves. SOLUTION: This device for adjusting a position for the outer peripheral part of the parison 8a has a means for adjusting a position for an outer peripheral part which is arranged at least at each one of the outsides, in the vertical direction, of a first half 7a and a second half 7b of a mold to the parison 8a, after a preliminary blow molding process, which is scheduled to be blow-molded by a blow mold 7 equipped with the first half 7a and the second half 7b which are relatively transferred back and forth in such a way that their cavity faces 71a and 71b are arranged opposite to each other. Further, the means diametrally reduces the outer peripheral part 80a of the parison 8a, in the radial inside direction running along the parting faces 70a and 70b and retains the outer peripheral part of the parison 8b in a positional relationship of the maximum width L10 of the cavity space along the parting faces 70a and 70b > the outer peripheral part 80b of the parison 8b after diametral reduction. |
