<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the electrified amount of toner to the amount by which the toner is easily transferred and to improve transfer efficiency by moving charge from a latent image carrier to the toner. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with the latent image carrier 1 and a developing means 4 forming a negatively electrified toner layer consisting of under two layers on a toner carrier 10 by a toner layer thickness regulating member 9. In the device, an electrostatic latent image on the latent image carrier is developed to be a visible image with the toner and the visible image is transferred to a transfer medium 5. The work function (ΦOPC) of the surface of the latent image carrier is set to be equal to or above that (Φt ) of the toner.</p> |
