PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor comprising a leg body that relaxes impact force on a hermetic container by dispersing stress onto the leg body without concentration when falling and that resists impact force by minimizing deformation of the leg body. SOLUTION: On a lower part of the hermetic container, fixing parts 6d having a plurality of inserting holes 6e punched on the periphery are extended and the plate type leg body 6 comprising a flange 6a having a part between the fixing parts 6d adjoining each other folded downward is fixed. This compressor is formed by a circular arc 6f of which the outer periphery between the adjoining fixing parts is curved inside and a tangent 6g of which ends of the circular arc 6f are extended toward tips of the fixing parts 6d.
