PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a decoding process for multi-object data including audio data in response to the processing capability of a decoding apparatus. SOLUTION: When a load factor of a CPU by the decoding process increases, an object determining part 6 checks whether there are three or more multi-object data (the data under the decoding process). If three or more, two of the multi- object data are arbitrarily selected. After two of the multi-object data are selected, the object determining part 6 refers to criteria and priority and controls the decoding (reproducing) process of the multi-object data with the lowest priority for decoding. The criteria indicate which item has the highest priority among a scalability function, data contents, data size and volume. The priority indicates which item is prioritized and controlled to be decoded among human voice and music.
