PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device which is simple and easy to handle by using a single type of number lock irrespective of the opening side of a door. SOLUTION: According to the locking device, a locking cylinder 9 of a number ring-type cylinder lock 4 having a door bearing portion 8, is directly fitted onto a locking arm 6 protruding outward from a gap 5 between an inner corner portion 1a of a door frame 1 on a door stop side, and a door end, to thereby implement locking. The foldable locking arm has a structure that is laterally foldable by a hinge or a structure that is foldable by longitudinally rotating in the gap between the door and the inner corner portion of the door frame. Therefore, the locking arm is folded to assume a receding position when the lock is released. The locking cylinder is formed in one body with the door bearing portion having a flat metal plate and an elastic member arranged on a surface of the metal plate.
