PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact inexpensive and capable of easily separating a cosmetic mirror at disposal. SOLUTION: The compact is detachably provided with the cosmetic mirror 5. A housing part 15 for housing the cosmetic mirror 5 is formed on a face of a compact body having the cosmetic mirror 5. A retaining ridge 16 is protrusively provided on one side wall upper end of the housing part 15, where one side end of the cosmetic mirror 5 is engaged with the retaining ridge 16. An elastic plate 18 with a retaining ridge 17 is provided on a place facing the retaining ridge 16 and formed integrally with the housing part 15, where the other side end opposite to the one side end of the cosmetic mirror 5 is engaged with the retaining ridge 17. A projection 20 is provided in a middle part or near the middle part inside the elastic plate 18. Horizontally pressing the elastic plate 18 by the cosmetic mirror 5 makes the elastic plate 18 bend to help the cosmetic mirror 5 to be slidable. A recess deck part 19 is provided on the bottom of the housing part 15 in a side of the elastic plate 18.
