PURPOSE: A device for controlling transmission power of a wireless transmitter is provided to apply output RF signals to one path only according to a necessary transmission power level, without distributing the output RF signals of a driving amplifier, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A switching unit(104) selects one of a power amplifier(102) and a bypass path bypassed without passing through the power amplifier(102), and passes output RF signals of a driving amplifier(100) to output the signals. Switches(110,112) are connected between a power input terminal of the power amplifier(102) and a driving power for driving the power amplifier(102). If a transmission power of a wireless transmitter is requested to a higher level, a controller(108) switches the switching unit(104) with the power amplifier(102), and turns on the switches(110,112). If the transmission power is requested to a lower level, the controller(108) switches the switching unit(104) with the bypass path, and turns off the switches(110,112).
