PRODUCTION METHOD FOR A SPLASH SHIELD USING A CONTINUOUS EXTRUSION-INJECTION-FOAMING MOULDING PROCESS

The present invention relates to a production method for a splash shield using a continuous extrusion-injection-foaming moulding process, and more specifically relates to a method for producing a splash shield, in which method a base-portion raw material comprising a plastic, glass fibres, a compatibilizer and rubber is subjected to melt extrusion while at the same time injection moulding is carried out, and then, without removing the injection-moulded article from the injection mould, the injection mould is rotated in the open state, and the injection-moulded article is conveyed to a foaming mould and subsequently undergoes a flame treatment and a polyurethane foam moulding step. In the production method for a splash shield according to the present invention, a single process is used for the procedure in which the materials are separately compounded and pelletized and the procedure in which the injection-moulded article is moulded and a foamed body is moulded, and thus it is possible to curtail the conveying of materials and various component parts and to reduce the risk of moulding dimension errors and of denaturing and contamination in the conveying procedure.
