The invention relates to a censer, meant for burning aromas, such as incense, chrism, etc., used for the treatment or as a religion object. According to the invention, the censer comprises a supporting body (1), having mounted thereon an open vessel (2) is mounted wherein the perfumed substance subjected to burning is located and above which a lid (3) is placed, said lid being provided with lateral orifices (a) circularly shaped, as a rule the open vessel being fixed to the supporting body (1), by means of a screw joint (4) and in the upper portion of the lid (3) there is provided a clamping ring (6) locked by means of a splint (7) in order to mount possible religion symbols, if the case may be.
