PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new wind power generating equipment which can effectively restrain useless power consumption due to a large transformer when wind power necessary for power generation cannot be obtained. SOLUTION: The wind power generating equipment is provided with the large transformer (4) linking a power system (1) with a wind power generator (2), a small transformer (5) linking the power system (1) with a wind mill control unit (3), a switching means (6) for switching connection/disconnection of the power system (1) with the large transformer (4), and a switching control means (7) for automatically controlling the switching means (6). The power system (1) is connected with the large transformer (4) in the case of a value higher than or equal to a previously set value, and is not connected with the transformer (4) in the case of a value lower than or equal to the set value.
