PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data transmission system that can transmit entire image data in a pseudo way or intermittently, without much increasing the transmission data quantity. SOLUTION: In the image data transmission system for transmitting image data, a transmitter side includes a means of selecting required partial image data in the image data or the entire image data by units of frames and transmitting the data, and a receiver side is provided with a frame memory and its control means, rewrites only the data in cross-reference with corresponding image data parts in the entire image data stored in the frame memory, when receiving the partial image data and reads the entire image data as output data.
