PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for measuring an electronic part capable of stabilizing the operation of a server by preventing running out of the free capacity of the hard disk of the server. SOLUTION: A command crontab is performed regularly such as once a day (step S12). Thus, the capacity of the file of each partition of the hard disk is described and prepared by the form of a file (step S14). The server decides whether there is a partition whose ratio of a used capacity is not smaller than a threshold in respective partitions A, B and C described in the file (step S16). In this case, the threshold is 75%. When the comparing result of the step S16 is YES ('Y'), the server 18 warns a user that the used capacity 3006 becomes not smaller than the threshold (step S20).
