Extrudable vinylidene chloride polymer compositions

A vinylidene chloride polymer composition comprising: (a) A vinylidene chloride polymer wherein the major component is a vinylidene chloride monomer and the remainder is one or more monoethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerisable with the vinylidene chloride monomer; (b) A glycerol ester; and (c) A high viscosity silicon polymer fluid concentrate, the glycerol ester being present in an amount of from 0.05 to 10 weight percent based on the weight of the vinylidene chloride polymer composition and the silicone polymer being present in an amount of from 0.005 to 5 weight percent on the weight of the vinylidene chloride polymer composition and, optionally, an epoxidised processing aid which is not an epoxy group-containing 1,2-polybutadiene.
