The screwdriver bit is made of two segments each made of a different material. The short tip (1) may be of cruciform shape and may be made of hard metal, which has been pressed to shape and then sintered. The penetrating segment (2) is made of steel, welded or soldered to the tip after matching of an anchoring projection (12) in a recess in a drive portion or second segment (14).
