PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of connecting part capable of easily and surely connecting two caissons immersed in water and a connecting method of caissons. SOLUTION: This structure of connecting part for connecting two caissons immersed in water comprises an outer shell 2 cylindrically protruded from the end of one caisson 41; a connecting block 3 having an internal space interrupted by at least one bulkhead 31; and a support body 1 arranged between the end part of the caisson having the outer shell and the connecting block, wherein the connecting block and support body housed in the outer shell are movable within the outer shell. The support body has the role of supporting the outer shell from the inside.
