SOLUTION: The moving machine 1 for a handrail includes a handrail for movement 3 movably provided along a handrail 2, a gear 7 provided on the handrail for movement 3, a rack 6 provided on the handrail 2 for engaging with the gear 7, a motor 12 provided on the handrail for movement 3 for driving the gear 7, and switches 18a, 18b provided on the handrail for movement 3 for turning the motor 12 on and off. When the switch 18a or 18b is turned on, the motor 12 drives and the handrail for movement 3 moves along the handrail 2. |
