PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the speed of a closing operation of a high-pressure fluid vessel and to solve a problem of early deterioration of packing. SOLUTION: This high-pressure fluid vessel is provided with a vessel body 1, a vessel lid 5 closing an opening part 2 of the vessel body 1, a seal ring 8 interposed between the inner circumferential surface 2a of the opening 2 and the outer circumferential surface 6a of an opening fitting part 6 of the vessel lid 5, and latch means 10 preventing the vessel lid 5 from being pulled out from the opening part 2. This vessel closes the opening part 2 by the vessel lid 5 without clamping the seal ring 8.
