PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for controlling a vane of an air conditioner capable of rapidly transmitting a heating air flow (cold air) in a desired direction by controlling a rotary angle (opening) of each vane of the conditioner. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the vane of the air conditioner comprises a controller for outputting a control signal for controlling rotary angles of a plurality of vanes 35 to 38 mounted at predetermined sections of the conditioner, and vane rotary drivers 31 to 34 mounted between the vanes of the conditioner to independently rotate the respective vanes according to the control signal.
