PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a forward-reverse change except during on-seat operation by permitting the forward-reverse change with the operation of a lever instead of the operation of a pedal. SOLUTION: This traveling vehicle body 2, wherein the power of a motor 20 is transmitted to traveling parts 7, 8 via a belt transmission device 41 and a forward-reverse changing device 72, comprises a common shift lever 30 for operating the belt transmission device 41 and the forward-reverse changing device 72. When the shift lever 30 is operated for the forward-reverse changing device 72 to be located at a forward-reverse neutral position, the belt transmission device 41 is in a transmission stopped condition.
