PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation member for constant-velocity joint vent which has a permeable membrane for enabling gas to pass into the air. SOLUTION: This ventilation member for is used for the constant-velocity joint. The vent includes the permeable membrane located within a chamber of the vent. The vent further includes a neck having a plurality of orifices thereabout. The orifices allow gases to travel between an interior and exterior of the vent. The orifices also provide a secondary function of stopping lubricant from penetrating and contaminating the permeable membrane of the vent.
