PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine treating agent for shower to which an aroma effect and an indicator function for the expiration date by perfume are imparted by incorporating perfume. SOLUTION: Perfume is incorporated into calcium sulfite granules of the chlorine treating agent to impart an aroma effect to the agent. The dissipation period of the perfume and the dissipation period of the chlorine treating ability of the calcium sulfite are synchronized so as to impart the indicator function for the expiration date to the chlorine treating agent.
