PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulator which is capable of sufficiently solidifying powder and suppressing the wear of parts. SOLUTION: This granulator has a first moving die 11 and second moving die 12 connecting a plurality of die members 18 formed with recessed parts on one surface to an endless form in such a manner that the recessed parts exist on the outer peripheral surface side. Both the moving dies 11 and 12 are arranged one above the other in such a manner that an upper moving route 26 of the first moving die 11 and a lower moving route 38 of the second moving die 12 face each other. The powder supplied from powder supplying means 15 onto the die members 18 of the first moving die 11 existing in the upper moving route 26 is meshed into the recessed parts of the upper and lower die members 18 by going around of both the moving dies 11 and 12 and thereafter the die members 18 of the second moving die 12 existing in the lower moving route 38 are pressurized by a fluid pressure cylinder 42, by which the powder intruding into the recessed parts of the upper and lower die members 18 is compacted.
