PURPOSE: An apparatus for handling lower screen mat of screen device for blast furnace raw materials is provided in which a screen is integrally mounted on a transfer frame of the lower screen mat so that the screen is again mounted on the lower part of the body after removing ore or adhesion ore by taking out the screen during deterioration of screen efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for freely handling a lower screen mat(224) of a screen device(220) for raw materials injected into a blast furnace, the apparatus for handling the lower screen mat of the screen device for blast furnace raw materials comprises a carrier frame(10) on the upper part of which the lower screen mat(224) is mounted, and which is slidingly mounted on inclined rails(5) inside the screen device(220); a support(70) which is positioned at the inlet side of screen of the screen device(220), and on the upper part of which rails(75) that are on the same straight line as the carrier frame(10) mounted rails(5) inside the screen device(220) are installed; and a traction device(80) which is mounted on the support(70) and connected to the carrier frame(10) using a wire rope(82), and pulls the carrier frame(10) and the lower screen mat(224) from the screen device(220) by driving force of a motor(84), wherein the lower screen mat(224) is pulled onto the support(70) to remove the raw materials when sieve holes of the lower screen mat(224) are clogged by raw materials, and the lower screen mat(224) is moved into the screen device(220) by dead load of the lower screen mat(224) after removing the raw materials.
