PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fly ash treatment method whereby the dioxin contents of at least two kinds of fly ash produced by at least two municipal waste incinerators and different in chemical composition from each other can be efficiently and continuously reduced. SOLUTION: This treatment method is characterized in that, by heating at least two kinds of fly ash produced by at least two municipal waste incinerators and different in chemical composition from each other in a reducing atmosphere in the temperature range of 250-450 deg.C, dioxins in the fly ash are thermally decomposed, giving fly ash with a reduced dioxin content. In the method, at least two kinds of fly ash are premixed and the resultant fly ash mixture having a homogeneous chemical composition is heated.
