PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool for lawn, with which a part of lawn taken before a cutter body is made to readily move upward by a part of lawn newly taken in by the drive of a subsequent cutter body. SOLUTION: This boring tool for lawn is equipped with a handle post 1, a treading plate part 2 attached to the bottom part 11 of the handle post 11 and the cutter bodies 3 which have cylindrical shapes being open at upper and lower ends, and fixed to the treading plate part 2 so that the cutter blades are driven from the bottom sides into lawn by treading from the upper side of the treading plate part 2. Driving tip parts 30 in the cutter bodies 3 are made to gradually widen inner diameters of the cutter bodies 3 from bottom openings 31 of the cutter bodies 3 to the upper side.
