<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of increasing a hitting angle and spin amount with increase in initial speed of a ball by causing elastic deformation not only in the face but in a crown part at the time of impact, whereby even a non-powerful golfer can attain enough increase in carry. SOLUTION: This club head includes a front part 1 formed by a face part 2 and a crown main part 3, and a back part 10 constituting the remaining part. The front part 1 is formed by a cast article. The metal material constituting the front part 1 has a lower elastic modulus than the metal material constituting the back part 10. The front part 1 and the back part 10 are welded. The face part 2 has a larger thickness in the center thereof as compared with that of the periphery. The wall thickness near the highest part T of a crown is small.</p> |
