PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing an individual exchange space on a network. SOLUTION: The following procedures are performed: a member authentication procedure s204 for acquiring and collating authentication information; a transmission information selection reception procedure s205 for transmitting the data of a page dedicated to members to a pertinent member terminal and receiving the selection event of transmission information; a space presence/absence confirmation procedure s207 for transmitting transmission information data to the pertinent member terminal and collating whether the individual exchange space is already opened; a space opening procedure s208' for automatically generating the individual exchange space when the individual exchange space is not opened yet and an opening request is notified; an exchange desire notifying procedure s209 for transmitting the data of the individual exchange space to the member terminal and notifying transmitter's terminal that a member desires information exchange; and a space operation procedure s212 for transmitting the data of the individual exchange space to transmitter's terminal when the individual exchange space is opened and an event indicating that a transmitter agrees with the information exchange is received.
