PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a surface acoustic wave branching filter, where two surface acoustic wave filters are contained in one package, which prevents deterioration in the attenuation and the isolation due to mutual inductance, intrusion of generated noise to the circuit and can be downsized. SOLUTION: The two surface acoustic wave filters at least one of which is of a ladder type are mounted on one package and each filter is connected to an external circuit by a ground terminal, a common terminal and a signal terminal of the package. In this case, a line connected to the signal terminal of one filter and a line connected to the ground terminal have a crossing part. Thus, the surface acoustic wave branching filter can be realized, which has a duplexer characteristic with excellent isolation and attenuation and can be downsized.
