PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which is capable of aligning removable subassemblies. SOLUTION: A system of aligning two units of module type is equipped with a projection (122) protruding from the base region (120) of a first unit (102), the projection (122) protrudes substantially toward a receptacle in the vertical direction, and the receptacle is provided to a base panel (118) in the base region (120) and a mounting region (150) of the second unit (104) to receive the projection (122). The projection (122) is equipped with a first plane (124) and a second plane (125), which cross each other at an angle (241) in the range of 10 deg. to 170 deg., a root end (130) near the base region (120) and a tip end (131) far from the base region (120), the projection (122) is tapered, so as to make the root end (130) larger in dimension than the tip end (131), and the receptacle (152) is so shaped as to be engaged with the first plane (124) and the second plane (125).
