The invention relates to a method for the online presentation of goods, in particular clothing, preferably by means of public communication networks such as the Internet or Intranet. Said method comprises a database and a unit for preparing image and/or graphic data and for representing said data in 3D. The invention is characterised by a configurator, which is connected to the database, accesses the latter and can be called after the access authorisation of a user has been verified. A preliminary selection of products is made available by said configurator. The desired product is selected using a corresponding mask, the data is transferred and represented in 3D on a display device of the user. Menus are used to individually adapt and configure the selected, quasi raw product, said menus comprising for example basic cut, sleeves, collar, button or zip fastening, type of fabric etc. The provision of product modification variants in the respective menus is inherent in the system, the completed, customer-specific variant of the specified product being stored in the database under an address. Finally, the user or customer data from the log-in operation and the data for the specified product is automatically retrieved and is transferred to an order page containing an input mask for at least the size and quantity of the specified product. Customer order data records for the specified product or products are obtained in turn from said mask, whereby said data records are converted into the desired file format of the supplier. |
