<p>The invention concerns a motor vehicle mechanical and hydraulic actuating brake cylinder, comprising an axially mobile piston (4), a pivot shaft (11) whereof part, accessible from outside the cylinder, is designed to be subjected to a rotational torque resulting from mechanical actuation of the brake, a ball-ramp mechanism transforming the rotational movements of the pivot shaft into translational movements of the piston and comprising a rotating plate (28) integral in rotation with the pivot shaft, a mobile plate and balls (33) housed in the ramp ribs arranged in the surfaces opposite the two plates. The invention is characterised in that said mobile plate is formed by the piston (4). The invention also concerns a brake comprising such a cylinder.</p> |
