FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has first pipe with inlet opening for admission of air flow sucked by means of vacuum cleaner, air delivery opening, and screw extending coaxially inside first pipe, second pipe having diameter less than outer diameter of screw and arranged coaxially to make extension of first pipe. One end of second pipe is in fluid communication with delivery end of first pipe and other end thereof is communicated with suction unit via first discharge channel. Apparatus is further equipped with third pipe arranged around second pipe and connected with first pipe delivery end so as to define between second and third pipes second channel for discharge of garbage-laden air toward filter and/or garbage receiver in accordance with additional air consumption. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics, increased service life of domestic vacuum cleaner, reduced production and operating costs and simplified maintenance. 17 cl, 15 dwg
