PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a spraying base material for slope greening, making it attainable to efficiently crush cut tree-originated waste to promote composting of the base material, and to provide a method for constructing slope greening using the spraying base material. SOLUTION: This method for producing a spraying base material for slope greening to be sprayed on a slope 7, comprises at least the following processes: a primary crushing process P1 of making cut tree-originated waste 1 into chips by adding the waste 1 an active water solution 2 containing a microorganism group promoting fermentation/decomposition of the waste 1, a secondary crushing process P2 of crushing the chips T1 obtained through the primary crushing process P1 by adding organic fertilizer 5 thereto, and a maturation process P3 of charging a bag with chips T2 obtained through the secondary crushing process P2 to store them so as to be matured. The method for constructing slope greening comprises the following process: adding organic fertilizer 9 to the spraying base material for greening obtained by the method for producing a spraying base material, and thereafter spraying the resultant base material on the slope 7.
